Sermon I features a man levitating, akin to the classic stage magic trick in which magicians lift themselves or their assistant into the air, breaking the laws of gravity. A man is surrendering to forces which he can’t chain, control or understand. The material weight of the body transforms into a spirit unbound by natural laws. Infinite greatness and insignificant smallness are present at the same time.
